Sanjay Chakrabarty
Chairman & Founder
Sanjay Chakrabarty is the Chairman & Founder of Nexusnow.ai, bringing decades of experience in the technology sector - from startups to scaling businesses globally. Under his leadership, Nexusnow.ai is committed to delivering next-generation AI-driven solutions that redefine business transformation across industries.
Sanjay is the Founder & Managing Partner of Capital Square Partners (“CSP”), a technology and business services focused private equity fund manager based and regulated in Singapore. CSP has done investments of over $3 billion, including debt and equity, over the last decade. He led the buyout of CSS Corp (from Partners Group) in 2021, which has since been rebranded to Movate Inc. (www.movate.com), where he serves as Chairman of the Board.
Sanjay is also a Director on the Board of Startek (www.startek.com), Relevance Lab (www.relevancelab.com), and Bits in Glass (www.bitsinglass.com), which are current portfolio companies of CSP. He was also a Board member and led CSP’s investment into Indecomm (exited to Warburg Pincus in 2019), Minacs (exited to Concentrix in 2016), and Aegis Holdings (merged with Startek in 2018), among others.
Prior to founding CSP, Sanjay was the President and Venture Partner at Columbia Capital, overseeing investments in India and Southeast Asia. He also previously founded and served as CEO of MobiApps Holdings, a technology company focused on satellite communication products including building a patent protected RF ASIC semiconductor chip. He successfully led MobiApps from inception to a strategic exit, including creating a joint venture with TATA Autocomp Systems.
Earlier in his career, Sanjay worked as a management consultant at Arthur D. Little in Washington, DC, and Singapore, specializing in Telecommunications, Technology, and Energy sectors.
Sanjay holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, where he received the Danforth fellowship, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University at Slippery Rock. He is also an avid musiciantrained in Indian classical music, and performs regularly on the Sarod.
