Over the past ten years, he has played a key role in developing next-generation network services, leveraging strategic insights from BCG and McKinsey, and broadening Nokia’s global service portfolio to assist operators in adapting to fast industry changes. 

As CTO, Amitava has managed complex, multi-year transformation projects across different regions, aligning technology, operations, and organisational capabilities with evolving market and regulatory demands. His ability to lead high-performing, multicultural teams has ensured seamless technology transitions and created lasting value for partners and stakeholders. His recent doctoral research enhances his strategic methods, fine-tuning transformation frameworks and boosting execution models with data-driven accuracy.
